At Gumpel & Co we offer professional ski and snowboard service in our shared workshop, equipped with modern machines from Austrian Wintersteiger . The combination of advanced equipment and professional experience ensures a precise and consistent result, regardless of whether you are returning alpine skis, all-mountain or freeride equipment.
Our approach to ski service is based on many years of experience in maintenance and preparation. Properly ground edges, a well-structured base and a thorough wax treatment ensure optimal grip, better glide and a more stable driving experience on the snow.
We use the latest Wintersteiger V-Edge technology – an advanced grinding method where the ski is given three different angles along the edge: one at the tip, one underfoot and one at the tail. This technique provides a smooth transition from a softer to a sharper edge, resulting in a more natural edge grip underfoot without compromising the ski’s agility.
At Gumpel & Co, we grind in V-Edge Comfort (89°, 88°, 89°) as standard – a versatile setting that is perfect for classic piste skis, all-mountain skis, park and off-piste equipment.
Ski servicing typically takes 1-3 business days.
