Description
At Gumpel & Co we offer professional ski and snowboard service with the option of repairing holes in the base. The work is carried out in our own workshop, where modern machines from Austrian Wintersteiger are combined with many years of experience in ski service. The result is a precise and uniform finish, where both structure, edge and base are restored to optimal condition.
This service includes a complete grinding and waxing as well as repairing any damage and holes in the base. Filling and processing damaged areas ensures a smooth glide and a longer life for the skis. Subsequently, wax is applied, which protects against moisture and cold and significantly improves the ski's gliding ability.
We use the latest Wintersteiger V-Edge technology , where the edges are ground at three different angles – one at the tip, one underfoot and one at the tail. This method provides a harmonious edge grip that combines stability underfoot with a more forgiving feel at the tip and tail.
At Gumpel & Co, we grind in V-Edge Comfort (89°, 88°, 89°) as standard – a setup that is ideally suited for piste skis, all-mountain, park and off-piste equipment.
